Do men always expect more intimate actions during a date?
I recently moved to the UK and have been exploring the dating scene here. I went on a blind date with a guy I met on a dating app. We had been texting for weeks and decided to meet up because we got along well. A little background: I’m from an Asian culture, and I’m maybe still not used to someone being so touchy, as that’s not common in my culture. We had a drink and then sat and talked in his car. At one point, he kissed me, and I tried to pull away, but he kept trying. What was worse is that he put his hand under my dress and touched my breast. I pulled his hand away and told him it was too fast for me. Maybe he thought we were vibing, but after I told him everything was moving too quickly, he still tried to kiss me more and even tried to talk me into it, saying he could slow down if I promised to go faster later. But he never apologized. I was still in shock, but I couldn’t help wondering if men only look forward to that.
